Middletown NY Maternity Photography: Moments to cherish

All day long I was watching the interactive weather map hoping that winds would push that impending storm out of my area. I mentally prepared myself in case the family decided to reschedule because of the storm. When we arrived to the location the sky seemed threatening but it was clear enough that I was willing to shoot so I let the family know my plans; we will shoot for as long as the weather lets us and if we have to pack up for another day then so be it.

I couldn’t have asked for a nicer family. They were warm and full of joy over their newest soon-to-be. Their little girl was so precious and sweet wanting to be part of all the fun. We decided to stay close to shelter in case we had to make a beeline for dryness. At one point the impending storm gave me a moment of heavenly light and I took advantage of it. And at another point the sun showed through the clouds for a very brief, very quick moment before it started to rain, heavily!

So grateful I had the time with this beautiful family! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to capture this very sweet session! Enjoy!
